Between August 27 and 30, I had the opportunity to visit the picturesque Porto, a small town in the north of Portugal. There I attended the 16th European Sociological Conference, where more than 3,000 sociologists presented their papers.

On Thursday, 20 June 2024, the inaugural lecture of prof. dr. Tea Golob entitled “Planetary Consciousness as a Lever for Sustainable Social Morphogenesis” took place.The lecture reconceptualised the concept of sustainable development and responsible behaviour and offered new perspectives and ideas on how to activate awareness among individuals of the interconnectedness of humanity and the planet.
