Ta prispevek raziskuje filozofsko nujnost oblikovanja novih pripovedi, ki nas ponovno povežejo z bistvom, ter ponuja zavestno pot k dobremu, ki ga razumemo kot Zemlji osredinjeno dobro. Ob opiranju na starodavne mite, Jungov koncept nezavednega in sodobne kvantne potencialnosti prispevek razmišlja o dvojni naravi človeštva – blagoslovljenega z razumom, a obenem odtujenega od svojega izvora. Nujnost novih zgodb vključuje preseganje delitev, prepletanje jezika in novih pomenov v multidimenzionalnih kontekstih, ki so v sozvočju s planetarno zavestjo, ter spodbujanje harmonije in namenskega delovanja v svetu, ki je ujet v odtujenost in manipulacijo.  Title of my contribution: Towards an Earth-Centric Good: Crafting New Narratives, Expanding Imaginaries Abstract: In today’s technologically advanced yet disconnected world, humanity has severed ties with foundational mythologies that once bridged emotions, reason, and our innate relation with the  Earth. This contribution explores the philosophical imperative to craft new narratives that reconnect us to our essence, offering a conscious path towards a good, which is considered as an Earth-centric good. Drawing on ancient myths, Jung’s concept of the unconscious, and modern quantum potentialities, this contribution reflects on humanity’s dual nature—blessed with reason yet estranged from its source. The urge for new stories entails the idea of transcending divisions, reweaving language and new meanings within multidimensional contexts to align with planetary consciousness, fostering harmony and intentionality in a world adrift in disconnection and manipulation. —————————————————————————————————————————————————– O dogodku / about the event Dnevi filozofije v Starem Gradu na otoku Hvaru so zasnovani kot prostor srečanja, izmenjave mnenj in dialoga med filozofi, študenti filozofije in ljubitelji filozofije, po vzoru grške, sokratske simpozijske tradicije. Dogodek poteka v kraju s trdnimi antičnimi, grškimi koreninami, ki je Aristotelov sodobnik – današnji Stari Grad so namreč leta 384 pr. n. št. ustanovili Grki z egejskega otoka Paros kot svojo kolonijo Faros. Na dneve filozofije bodo povabljeni filozofi različnih usmeritev, ki so odprti za dialog o temah iz zgodovine filozofije, ki ponujajo možne odgovore na sodobne izzive človeka in družbe. Glavno vodilo teh srečanj bo svobodno filozofiranje brez omejitev, tudi med pogosto nasprotujočimi si filozofskimi (in ideološkimi) stališči.   The Pharos Philosophy Symposium in Stari Grad (Otok Hvar Croatia) is conceived as an open gathering place, where philosophers, philosophy students and fellow travelers share their ideas in the tradition of the Greek Socratic symposium. The single guiding principle of the symposium is to freely reflect and critically engage with differing ideas. Scholars and students across various fields are welcome to send their vision, to apply for participation in the 2025 symposium. This four-day event is designed as an inclusive dialogue, spanning from the most ancient history to the most contemporary of philosophy, science and art, aiming to explore potential solutions to the pressing challenges faced by humanity and society today.
